Stage4Beverley presents…

Lauren Housley is a singer and songwriter hailing from Yorkshire, UK. Her love of music started early, with a deep connection to great songs, the craft of storytelling and an emotive vocal performance. “Being a deeply empathetic person led me to channel my emotions into poems and songs, with a hope that they would bring some comfort, joy and understanding to people.”

Lauren independently released her debut album Sweet Surrender in 2015, quickly garnering acclaim from fans and fellow musicians. The album’s first single, ‘Ghost Town Blues’ hit the BBC Radio 2 playlist. She was invited to perform at the 02 Arena in London as part of Blues Fest, alongside some of the artists that have inspired her, including Van Morrison & Tedeschi Trucks Band.

Lady Nade is a Bristolian folk Americana songwriter who fills your heart with words and melodies that nourish the mind, body and soul. Share a room with her, and she’ll give you her story. All of it. The joys and sorrows. You will love her for it, and she will love you back.

Lady Nade started writing poems and songs as a form of healing from grief, learning  that loss isn’t something one can recover from alone, and with her music and recipes she creates a communal experience that everyone can enjoy. Her work developed into a calling to connect with her fans on a deeper level and help lead them through life’s complicated tapestry with the power of music. She pours creativity into every song, often lavishing them with a recipe to match – this one is not to be missed!
