Jon Boden in Concert

Jon Boden is best known as the lead singer of the progressive folk juggernaut Bellowhead who’ve sold over 250,000 albums, had seven singles featured on Radio 2 playlists and sold-out hundreds of venues including The Royal Albert Hall.

 

The Americana Session with the Lauren Housley Trio and Lady Nade

Lauren Housley is a singer and songwriter hailing from Yorkshire, UK. Her love of music started early, with a deep connection to great songs, the craft of storytelling and an emotive vocal performance.

Tankus the Henge have built their reputation on unforgettable songwriting, spectacular live performances and relentless hard work, building a devoted fan base along the way. Their funk-fuelled repertoire is wildly eclectic, ranging from New Orleans-inspired swing to heavy rock riffs, and since their beginnings in the ratty alleyways of London’s Soho, the band has evolved into a wild groove machine.

 

The People Versus (with support)

The People Versus borrow from a variety of genres and traditions. Their combined voices and instrumental lines swoop, circle and support the beguiling voice and personality of the lead singer Alice Edwards. Each song is taut with feeling and longing, with many inspired by Greek myth and tales from Shakespeare.

 

Finale Concert with The New York Brass Band

The New York Brass Band are North Yorkshire’s only contemporary New Orleans-inspired Brass Band and are at the forefront of a funky brass revolution. They pack a powerful punch of relentless drums, rumbling tuba and wailing horns… nothing kicks a party into gear like the sound of a smokin’ New Orleans Mardi Gras Jazz Band.
