Does a certain song immediately transport you back in time? Does it stick in your mind for the rest of the day? Does music make you want to dance, laugh, cry, write a poem? Let’s find out together at this informal workshop for poets of all abilities. Through some fun writing prompts, and listening exercises, we will delve into our musical memories and create, write and share our poems inspired by music – just bring your pen, your pad, and your curiosity!

Attendees will also have the chance to read the poem they create at the workshop – or have it read for them over the festival period.
