The Snow Queen by Anna Wheatley

Join ERT for another magical Christmas show!
Best friends Gerda and Kai bring warmth to the Danish winter and to each other’s lives. They spend their days tending to their rose garden, solving maths problems, competing to find the biggest words and listening to the fantastical tales spun by Kai’s grandmother.
But now the warmth they have created for themselves may be under threat from the icy reach of The Snow Queen and when Kai suddenly and mysteriously disappears, timid Gerda finds herself having to be braver than she ever thought possible in her efforts to find him.
Join Gerda in her adventures as she crosses Scandinavia wrestling with bandits and befriending a reindeer. Will she be able to summon the strength and love within herself to rescue Kai and to melt the ice that grips his heart?
Suitable for ages 5 to 105! A heart warming winter tale, fun for all the family
