A Play From The Works Of P.G. Wodehouse by Robert Goodale and David Goodale
Directed by Richard Avery
Don’t miss a riotously funny, rollicking tale as P.G. Wodehouse’s legendary duo, Jeeves and Wooster, take to the stage at ERT! Bertie Wooster’s wrapped up in one of his usual scrapes and is in need of Jeeves’ help to unravel the whole frightful mess!
They’re joined by familiar faces as Bertie dodges engagements, becomes the pawn in one of Aunt Dahlia’s madcap plots, and, if fortune is, for once, on his side, escapes a thorough thrashing from Sir Roderick Spode! But Bertie’s work is never done as he must make sure that Gussie Fink-Nottle, and Madeline Bassett stay together at all costs, new obsessions and drippy dispositions notwithstanding.
But never fear, as Bertie never leaves home without the trusty Jeeves, who is aiding and abetting him through this tangle of farcical schemes. Aunt Dahlia’s butler joins the ranks in this award-winning retelling of a classic Jeeves and Wooster tale, which debuted in the West End in 2013. Hilarious, and uproariously good fun, jump in your vintage wagons and join us for a glamorous night out on the town!
Winner of the Olivier Award for Best New Comedy 2014, and brought to life at East Riding Theatre this Autumn, it’s a must see!
