If the performance is not sold out, you will need to contact us again nearer the performance date as explained in number 4** below.

How to initiate reselling your tickets in advance for a sold-out performance

1 FIRST – Speak to Box Office staff at least 72 hours before which your original booking is valid. Tickets will only be offered for resale by ERT for a performance that has sold out.

2 After you have spoken to Box Office staff, tickets for resale must be either returned in person or an email to must be received authorising your wish to resell the tickets. The resale process will then start.

3 Please note, tickets will become invalid once you request a resale and, if the ticket is not resold, no credit will be made. We will let you know whether the tickets have been resold or not on the next working day after the start of the performance. Customers’ accounts for resold tickets will be credited less an admin charge of £1.50 per ticket.

4 **If you contact us less than 72 hours before the day of the performance, we will try to resell tickets without advance notification, only if the performance is sold out. We will not try to resell the tickets unless we receive immediate written confirmation by email or immediate return of unwanted tickets. Conditions as stated in number 3 apply.

Transfers: Tickets can be transferred for an admin fee of £1.50 per transaction. Tickets can only be transferred to a different performance of the SAME show and any increase in price must be paid at the time of exchange.

If the new tickets are of cheaper value, your East Riding Theatre account will be credited with the difference.
