PlayLab is an exciting new event, which launches July 2024 at East Riding Theatre.
During PlayLab audiences will be able to attend workshops or see rehearsed readings of selected new plays being performed by professional actors, script in hand.
Our aim is to profile new works from writers within the region.

We would like to thank all Playwrights who have submitted their applications and we have been overwhelmed by the response that we have received!
Over the past few months we have been accepting script submissions and these are now being reviewed by our panel of dramaturgs. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted in early June and a series of select performances will take place in July.
