We may not be on stage right now but we are doing our best to stage a whole variety of What’s On-Line events which you can view by visiting us on Facebook.
Our loyal local artists are currently providing free content enabling everyone to enjoy their work and reminding us all of the wonderful ambience, talent and support of our local theatre.
You can donate to help artists continue their work or if that’s not easy just now, please ‘share’ and encourage your friends to view the content.

Jo Caulfield & Simon Evans: Live From Their Living Rooms
Join two of Radio 4’s most popular comedy broadcasters, and two of the country’s most consistently brilliant live performers, Jo Caulfield and Simon Evans, for a FREE live streamed show hosted by resident Your Place Comedy compere, Tim FitzHigham.
Both Jo and Simon have been seen on BBC2’s Mock the Week and Live At The Apollo, as well as, between them, starring on BBC1’s Have I Got News For You and Question Time, BBC2’s Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Channel 4’s Stand Up For The Week. Each is a regular on BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show, The News Quiz, The Unbelievable Truth and Just A Minute, while Jo has starred in three series of her own show, It’s That Jo Caulfield Again, and Simon has written and presented five series of Simon Evans Goes To Market.
Hosted by Tim FitzHigham (writer and star of Radio 4’s The Gambler, presenter of CBBC’s Super Human Challenge and Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nominee), this is the third show in a brand new initiative from a group of small, independent theatres and arts centres in northern England to both support performers and continue bringing live entertainment to their audiences during these difficult times.
The event is FREE to watch but there will be an option to donate if you have enjoyed the broadcast, with all money raised being distributed equally among the supporting venues (including this one!), each of whom are navigating their way through some challenging financial times.
